We took the 3 days bus tour package with the discount price US$78/person. The Great Wall of China was so wonderful. The Beijing hutong was impressive with old Beijing culture. I think the scenery of each place will be more beautiful in summer. But the entrance tickets were cheaper now in winter and it was not so crowded.

We asked many service first, but finally we found the group tour package suited us most. The bus tour was cheaper than others. The 3 days group tour we took was only US$78 per person. There is no hidden charge and everything is listed clearly in the tour confirmation. During the tour days, we enjoyed the tour with different tour guides in each day.

An essential Great Wall experience! Had so much fun exploring the interesting engineering feat of China, at this time of year, hardly any travelers here on the wall, that is why I got to explore the wall at my own pace. Anyway, it was really an unforgettable hike!

We were given ample time at all of our stops too. This was a fantastic tour that allows you to see the best of Beijing within only 3 days with reasonable tour price.

Tour exceeded my expectations with a well informed tour guide. Our guide was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Worth every cent that I spent! Summer Palace is one of the highlights of the tour. There has a big boat made of marble that an empress was built to take tea on and enjoy the view of the lake. There are also a lot more impressive cultural sites inside the garden. Stunning!

We did see a lot and learn a lot from joined this 3 days tour. My favorite part was visiting the palace, Forbidden City. The architecture of the ancient palace was so impressive and old. It reflects so much of royal family aspect in everywhere inside. I was very proud to be able to enter the area that was used as the forbidden area at past. Have a nice time!

Besides important historical sites around Beijing include Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, we also could visit many interesting cultural spots for example Hutong. A rickshaw ride which brought us roamed around the old complex of local Beijing residences was very interesting. The old house design was very old and authentic. Must visit!

This time, I visited Beijing in 3 days, to enjoy the royal momentum in it, including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, etc, and also the ordinary life style in Hutong area, even the modern night life in Houhai area. It was a wonderful experience no matter day time and night time. Great!

I had seen the China pandas in this coach tour in Beijing. Although in zoo, it was my first time to visit the cute pandas. You never know they are so lovely before you see them. They are fat so seemed lazy. It is said they are very lively in fact when full. And I saw one was fighting with the door to its room, and I thought it must want to go back to sleep.

It was one of the must-do things in Beijing to visit its world famous attractions. I joint in a coach tour operated by local Beijing travel agency to visit main spots of them. I was very happy I had a chance to enjoy them. They are the essences of Beijing even China, especially the Great Wall. As an ordinary people, I showed more interests to the Hutong which is a special and characteristic residence in China.

I would like to say Beijing is a special city with lower temperature, crowded travelers, comprehensive cultures and different colors' people, but no one ignore its long history and profound culture. Every spot in this city is a book recording part of memory. With others in this group, we had a clear understanding to this world famous capital city.

I thought the Temple of Heaven was the most suited spot to visit in frozen time, as it was the sacrificial group of building in Ming and Qing Dynasty for emperors to pray good harvest and worship the gods. Long times ago, it was always full of solemn atmosphere till now. Only bright point in Temple of Heaven was the aged people taking exercise here. A special experience in Beijing!

It was the cold winter tour in Beijing, but the spots let me full of passion. The Great Wall at Badaling let me know what the world wonder is, and the hiking experience was the great chance to hear the history and stories happened in the time it was building. I like the Wall as well as my hometown. I thought it would be most beautiful in spring. Looking forward this spring Great Wall tour!

It is another exciting place in this Beijing trip and worth to take a look. The Temple of Heaven is an UNESCO world heritage site, is extensively restored very well. In fact, it was crowded as others, but the park and the surroundings share the visitors, so it did not feel as tightly packed as the Summer Palace. And it is regarded as an ordinary park for locals, they playing cards, dancing and exercising here. Less quick rhythm of modern city, but more harmonious atmosphere!

Written by: Myron ★★★★★ Added: 2013-01-22

Our tour group walked grounds of the Summer Palace. It was cold, but still many local people practiced there. The lake was frozen that many kids and lovers skating on it happily. The lower temperature not stopped the passion of visitors. It is said the garden is very charming in spring, but it was also beautiful after snow. Everything here was white, so pure and holy!

During the 3 days, we cost the less money to visit the most attractions of Beijing owing to this good tour operator. We like every spot in this coach tour, but the Forbidden City was most impressed, lots of buildings, different decorations, variety of details and the imperial garden, everything in it is worth to visit. Following Susan the tour guide, we were addicted into the rich history of it and the rigid feudal hierarchy. It was totally a mystery!

Written by: Beck ★★★★★ Added: 2013-01-16

The memorable one of stops was the Great Wall at Badaling. We visited it in first day, it was a fine day, and the Wall looked grand and gorgeous, without the shade of the leaves. What shocked us is not the Wall itself, but its construction history, and the details about the bricks, holes, watchtowers, etc. Old Chinese people built the Wall and let it influence the ancient Chinese history. We like the history back of the Wall.

The Forbidden City really is an incredible place, the number of buildings, beautiful decorations, various statues, and the whole place is mind blowing, so that I was amazed by everything about this complex of rooms. And the imperial garden is beautiful and comfortable, suits for rest. Despite the thousand walking around me, it was very interesting.

I had visited Beijing several times, the common characteristic of these spots is they full of the Chinese traditional Buddhist atmosphere. This time, I visited a special temple - Lama Temple which is the Tibetan lamasery. The statues in it are different the ordinary statues in other temples, they were fresh to me. Surprisingly, I had thought to study their differences. Highly recommend to people would travel in Beijing!

The Summer Palace really was a beautiful place, constructed by a female using amount of money. Including the freezing lake, the long corridor and halls are all greater. It is a big site with large lake, so they use Dragon Boats on lake to enable visitors easily transfer from the one side to the other side of the lake. But it was stopped owing to the icy lake. Even cold, it was still crowded with visitors. Bustling!

Luckily, I visited the famous Great Wall at Badaling in Beijing, with cheap price and group service. It was a cold day, the section of the world wonder let me full of passion, its grand body and dragon-like posture gave me a new conception to the world wonder. Less crowds and trees, it standing there just likes a magnificent king to overlook everything under its foot. It felt good to stand on the shoulder of giant!

The gardens and trees are truly beautiful, really amazing place that transport one back to ancient China. Interesting!

Sacrifice is an ancient traditional ceremony for country with long history, and I also like to explore these rituals. China is an ancient country with long history of almost 5,000 years, so the Temple of Heaven is one of the important complexes in ancient China. But at present, it has few trace of sacrifice, and I just followed the tour guide and heard of some details from her.
