We enjoyed a lot in the private tour we booked. Datong is truly an amazing place housed so many giant highlights, Yungang Grottoes, Nine Dragon Screen, etc. I was very interested in the Nine Dragon Screen and the history hidden. So skilful carving art appeared in Chinese ancient times, perfect!

Definitely an eye-opening journey to Datong! Everything went very well. Did see plenty of historic sights according to the itinerary. The long standing grottoes, interesting monastery and pagodas as well as the dragon wall – all gave me a deep insight into the profound Chinese history and culture! My tour guide Lee was very knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor. Thanks a million!

Such amazing skillful masterpiece! I really want to know how they were made and carved. Need the special skill? It is really a mystery for me! So many vivid figures presented on the huge stones with truly appearance. I took a lot of pictures but appearance is different from the real appearance!
