Opened in 1999, the Guoke Bar is the first one in Beijing which is themed in self-help travel. The bar is housed in a traditional courtyard, during summer days, the courtyard is sprawling with verdant and lush plants, making the bar a perfect retreat. Moreover, the houses are all opened with scuttles, ensuring abundant sunlight and rooftop sightseeing.
The gourmet food offered by the bar is very famous in Beijing, mainly serving the Italian food, the specialty including its kababs Pizza and red wine lambs. Dining aside, retreating to the bar to relax or enjoy some private time is also worthwhile.
