No. 46 Theater

The No. 46 Theater is hidden in a quaint Hutong, hailed as the lesser 798. It is restored and redesigned based on a factory, including two theaters - Black Theatre and Red Theater offering the middle stage works (300) and small experimental works for the stage. Fangjia Hutong, from east to west, can be dated back to Yuan Dynasty. Fangjia Hutong starts from Andingmen Avenue in the west, adjacent to the Fensiting Hutong, and ends at Lama Temple Street in the east. Today, the theater is hidden in the red tile lanes and deep alleys as a "LOFT" -- "cultural neighborhood" - Fangjia Hutong No. 46 Theater is completed. Fangjia Hutong No. 46 courtyard is the original Chinese machine factory. It covers an area of 9000 square meters, with the existing building area of about 13,000 square meters. Because of the international popular LOFT pattern, its frame structure, large space, independence, privacy is one of a kind, so some artists began to turn to the urban center of the capital. This "Creative neighborhood" is more diversified than 798 Art Zone, here there are not only the theme restaurant, bar, book, Hu Tong art cultural corridor and other facilities, but also video creation performing small theater, Creative Labs, which are Fangjia the characteristics of Hutong No. 46 courtyard.
