Itinerary of My 3 Day Vacation in Beijing

I am very happy that I have a wonderful trip in Beijing. During the 3 day package tour, we visited the world famous attractions, tasted traditional Chinese food and had learnt more about the history of this old city.

Temple of Heaven

Day 1: Arrived at Beijing International Airport, so large, so elegant with advanced facilities and outstanding signposts, I felt comfortable. A few minutes later, we saw the tour guide holding a welcome sign with my name on it and then transferred us to our hotel - Beijing Wangfujing Da Wan Hotel. On the way, the tour guide made a brief introduction of modern Beijing. Our hotel is located in Wangfujing Street. That's wonderful. During the spare time I could enjoy the shopping time there. After a short rest, in the afternoon we traveled to our first destination – Temple of Heaven. The temple was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests. Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest is the main building built in Yongle reign. After the tour to Temple of Heaven, we enjoy the Mongolian Hot Pot and Kongfu show in the evening. The excellent Shaolin Kungfu did impressive.

Forbidden City

Day 2: This is a full day traveling to the representative attractions in the city downtown. From 8:00 am, we began to visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Standing on the square, the Tower with red color is outstanding with the photo of Chairman Mao hanging in the middle of the top. Forbidden City is so large. With limit time, we just visited a small part of it. The tour guide said that each brick in the palaces is carefully selected. How magnificent it is! In the afternoon we visited the Summer Palace where I like best. The charming garden scenery makes us feel as if we were in the xanadu. We took a lot of beautiful pictures with sweet flowers.

Great Wall

Day 3: This is the last travel day in Beijing. In the early morning we went to see the famous Great Wall. A little bit far from downtown, there are not so crowed. The weather is perfect with blue skies and gentle breeze. In order to have a bird's eye view and to save energy, we took the cable car. Lying with the trend of the mountains, the Great Wall is like a dragon ready for flying. Ming Tombs is our last destination. It is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China. If not personally see, I cannot imagine the tombs could build with so large scale and luxury.

Time flies. This 3 day tour in Beijing is really impressive that I will never forget.
