Itinerary of: Classic Cities & Yangtze River Cruise Tour

Day 1
Arrival at Beijing

Arrive at Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2
Beijing (B, L, D)
Peking Roast Duck

Pick you up from your hotel and enjoy full day trip to theTiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a  Peking Duck Banquet for dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. After the day tour, transfer back to your hotel.
- Tiananmen Square: the largest public square in the world. It is 880 meters from north to south, and 500 meters from east to west, with a total area of 440,000 square meters and can hold one million people.
- Forbidden City: the largest ancient imperial palaces where 24 emperors, 14 of the Ming and 10 of the Qing, ruled the country from here over a span of nearly 500 years.
- Temple of Heaven: The temple was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests.

Day 3
Beijing (B, L)
Badaling Great Wall

Pick you up from your hotel and take full day trip to the Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tomb. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
- Badaling Great Wall: As its name implies it gives access to every direction. With an elevation of 600 meters it is the most famous and best-preserved section of the Great Wall.
- Ming Tomb: also called Shisanling (literally, Thirteen Tombs), it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China. They are mausoleums of thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

Day 4
Beijing - Xian (B, L)
Lama Temple

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Summer Palace and Lama Temple. Drive to Beijing capital airport, take afternoon flight to Xian. Arrive in Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel.
- Summer Palace: the largest and best preserved imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty extant in Beijing, as well as a famous classical imperial garden.
- Lama Temple: the Yonghegong (Palace of Harmony and Peace) Lamasery is the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery of Gelug Sect(Yellow Sect of the Lamaism)in present day Beijing.

Day 5
Xian (B, L)
Terracotta Worriors

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
- Terra Cotta Warriors: It is a part of the Qin emperor's tomb complex, the Terra Cotta Warriors is the greatest findings in the archeology world.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda: the symbol of the long history of Xian, and a well-preserved ancient building and holy worshipping shrine for Buddhists.
- Tang Dynasty Show: a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance, is a must when you visit Xian.

Day 6
Xian (B, L)
Xian Ancient City Wall

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Provincial Museum , the City Wall and a local family. The a la carte lunch is served at a local famous restaurant, visit the Great Mosque. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
- Great Mosque: is one of the oldest and best preserved as well as most renowned mosques in the country. It is northwest of the Drum Tower oand its nearby bazaar area.n 30 Huajue Lane.
- Provincial Museum: Opened in 1991, the museum is a giant architectural in the Tang-dynasty style and it successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.
- Ancient City Wall: the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

Day 7
Xian - Guilin (B, L)
Hanyangling

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Hanyangling Museum on the way to the airport. Take flight to Guilin and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre in the evening.
- Hanyangling Museum: The Mausoleum of the Western Han Emperor Liu Qi (Hanyangling), it was built in the year 153 AD and covers an area of 20 square kilometers.

Day 8
Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin (B, L)
Li River Cruise

Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. Transfer back to Guilin.
- Li River Cruise: From Guilin to Yangshuo. To travel the river, one will find its natural sights vary in different weathers, but are all beautiful.
- Yangshuo: An ancient city town. Yangshuo is famous for its attractive hills and waters as well as its abundant production particularly for such fruits as sweet orange, tangerine, pomelo and persimmon.

Day 9
Guilin - Chongqing (B, L)
Seven Star Park

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Reed Flute Cave, Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Take a flight to Chongqing and transfer to the Yangtze Cruises.
- Reed Flute Cave: One of the most famous caves in Guilin. The 240-meter-long cave contains numerous grotesque-shaped stalactities that form four zones of the cave: Stone Forest, Heavenly Pillar and Cloud Mountain, Crystal Palace and Zigzagging Gallery.
- Seven Stars Park: In the park is the famous Seven Stars Mountain, which has many water-eroded caves. Among these caves, the most famous scenic spot in the park is the Seven Stars Cave, which is inside the Putuo Hill.
- Elephant Trunk Hill: shapes just like an elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, thus its name. The symbol of Guilin. 

Day 10
Yangtze River (B, L, D )
Fengdu Gost City

The cruise starts at 9:00. Excursion to Fengdu (Ghost city), a must-shore excursion site on the Yangtze cruise.
- Fengdu (Ghost city): Fengdu is the only ghost city in China. The temples are all over the mountain with many statues.

Day 11
Yangtze River (B, L, D )
Shennong Stream

Excursion to Baidicheng. Passing Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, Drifting in the Shennong Stream. Passing Dam Shiplock, the Three Gorges Dam will be the largest hydropower station and dam in the world.
- Qutang Gorge: it is the first of the three gorges of the Yangtze River and it is famous for its sheer and spectacular precipices.
- Wu Gorge: Wu Gorge is the second gorge of the Three Gorges system in Yangtze River and gifted with exquisite peaks and lush mountains and ranges.
- Shennong Stream: is one of the most important ports of call for Yangtze Three Gorges tour. It is a 60-kilometer tributary of the Yangtze River
- Three Gorges Dam: located in the Yiling District of Yichang, in Hubei province, China. It is a hydroelectric dam that spans the Yangtze River by the town of Sandouping. It is the world's largest electricity-generating.

Day 12
Yichang - Shanghai by Air (B, L)
Xiling Gorge

Passing Xiling Gorge. Arrival at Yichang, on the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Our local tour guide will meet you at the port. After lunch, transferred to the Yichang Airport. Take the afternoon flight for Shanghai. Met and transferred to your hotel in Shanghai.
- Xiling Gorge: it is the largest and furthest downstream of the Three Gorges.

Day 13
Shanghai (B, L)
Nanjing Road

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. Visit the Bund and Nanjing Road. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel!
- Shanghai Museum: ranked as China's best museum.
- Yuyuan Garden: is considered one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens in the region.
- The Bund: the picturesque bund with tall building of various tower over the river, looking as a museum of modern world architecture.
- Nanjing Road: The most famous thoroughfare for shopping and entertainment in Shanghai.

 

Day 14
Departure from Shanghai ( B)

Pick you up from your hotel and transfer to airport for departure or free on your own.
