Forbidden City
Forbidden City - Symbol of Imperial Power

Drum Tower, the place gives the correct time in ancient capital, sits at Dianmenwai Street, built in 18th years of Yongle Emperor, and rebuilt in 5th year of Jiaqing Emperor. Drum Tower was the place to drumming to report time to whole city in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Once it was regarded as the display place for showing the material objects when the Eight Countries Allied invasion of Beijing in 1924.

Bell Tower
Bell Tower, the north end point of Beijing axle wire, sits at Dianmenwai Street and north of Drum Tower. First built in 18th year of Yongle Emperor as well as Drum Tower, Bell Tower was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 10th year of Qianlong Emperor, and it accomplished after 12 years.
