Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kunming

Our guide will pick you up at Kunming airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 2
Kunming (B, L)
Stone Forest

Pick you up from your hotel and enjoy the full day tour to visit the Yunnan Stone Forest and the Qiongzhu Temple. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
- Stone Forest: is known as the First Wonder of the World ever since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD) for its natural landscape.
- Qiongzhu Temple: QiongZhu Temple(Bamboo Temple) is located in the beautiful wooded Yu'an Mountain, only twelve kilometers (seven miles) northwest of Kunming. It is one of the most famous Buddhist temple in Yunnan Province.

Day 3
Kunming - Dali (B, L)

Take the morning flight to Dali and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Erhai Lake Park, the Three Pagoda, the South Gate of the Dali ancient town and transfer to Foreigner Street. You can let your guide/driver go home and have the dinner by yourselves.
- Erhai: The Lake is the second largest lake of Yunnan Province, with the Dianchi Lake ranking the first. It is named after its shape and expanse. "Er" in Chinese means a human ear and "Hai" means a sea, therefore it got the name Erhai.
- Three Pagodas: the Dali Three Pagodas, located in the Chongsheng Temple at the foot of the Cangshan Mountain, have a history of over 1,800 years. They have been eyewitnesses to the history of Dali and embody the development of Buddhism in the area.
- Dali Ancient Town: a city that is famous for its literature, historical records, cultural of heritage and richest relic in Yunnan Province. It faces Erhai Lake to the east and Cangshan Mountain to the west.

Day 4
Dali - Lijiang (B, L)
Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance

Drive to Lijiang, visit the Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou and the tie--dyeing in Zhoucheng. Check in at the hotel. Enjoy theNaxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace.
- Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance: it is the traditional Naxi classical music that is regarded as a 'living fossil of Chinese music'.

Day 5
Lijiang (B)
Lijiang Old Town

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Square Street of the Lijiang Ancient Town. The rest of day is free for you to explore the town. You can wander through the beautiful town and have lunch and dinner in the town by yourselves in the afternoon.
- Lijiang Old Town: it was built about 800 years ago during the Southern Song Dynasty. Owing to its unique ethnic culture and urban layout, this old town consists of 3 parts, Dayan, Shuhe and Baisha. Lijiang Old Town listed to be one of World Cultural Heritage in 1997.

Day 6
Lijiang (B, L)
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Dry Sea, take the cable car to Spruce Plateau and overlook the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and visit the Baisha Village and a local Naxi family, the Baisha Murals, the Rock Joseph's Former Residence in Yuhu Village. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 7
Lijiang - Kunming (B, L)
Daguan Park

Take flight back to Kunming and transfer to visit the Golden Temple, the Daguan Park and the Flowers and Birds Market. After the visit, transfer to your hotel.
- Golden Temple: it lies on the northwestern outskirts of Kunming, some 8 miles (12 km) from the downtown area. Surrounded by wooded hills, the temple was built about 1280 at the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty by a famous monk. It was the first temple where Buddhism was preached to the believers in Kunming.
- Daguan Park: located 7 kilometers west of Kunming, is known for its longest antithetical couplet in China. First built in 1682 by a monk, the park once served as a Guanyin (Avalokistesvara's) Temple.

Day 8
Departure from Kunming (B)

Pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the airport. See off.
